Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

It's 2020! The world has come across many milestones to achieve the virtual world/reality. Some virtual reality examples are VR gaming, virtual prototypes of cars, and even teaching in classrooms. In the reading, "The Virtual World Moves into the Classroom," by Joe Earle, he talks about how virtual reality is being installed into some schools. Students have the opportunity to put on computer-connected goggles to take a trip across many different places such as Paris and London. He says that the students take these trips to learn about the refugee families and studying the inner workings of volcanoes. The pros of virtual reality could be the different experiences that you can encounter and the many things that can be learned. Virtual world can, however, be detrimental too. I believe the people may be detached from the real world if they abuse VR like an addictive drug as an escape. In the article, "I've Been in that Club, Just Not in Real Life," by Dave Itzkoff, he tells us about how he went on an online bar instead of a real one because of the many reasons that made him leave. Some people may use this as an alternative to live their everyday lives soon find themself to be accustomed to the virtual world. The virtual world fosters creativity by just being a virtual world itself. With the computer-generated goggles, you can walk in another country and explore it in the space of your own home. You can now play multiple video games in a virtual world too. I think the future of Virtual Reality will be beyond our imagination and I have high hopes for it. I think VR will enhance the gaming experience for many fans of popular games and will be used widely among the world.
