After going on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Tumblr, I came to the conclusion that Facebook and LinkedIn are similar to each other and Twitter and Tumblr are similar to each other. Facebook is a platform where people (friends and family) update their connections with what's going on in their lives by uploading pictures, statuses. On LinkedIn, it's fairly similar, except that it's used in a professional way. Many people refer to LinkedIn as the professional Facebook because people on LinkedIn update their connections with job offers, connections, and what's going on in their professional life. For Twitter and Tumblr, there's similar in many ways where they can "retweet" and "retumble." All of these platforms have many similarities like being able to post pictures, like pictures, and most importantly, to let the people know what your interests are by the content that you're interacting with.
